Dubz Against The World art show up through June 15

SoleSpace is pleased to present a special Playoffs Edition of the Dubz Against The World art show, featuring more than 27 artists from around the globe. Hosted on Warriors Ground in downtown Oakland, the show is free and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday 12-7pm at our 1714 Telegraph Avenue gallery and sneaker boutique.

We'll be posting more images from the show every day. They are all available for purchase at the store or you can message us via Instagram. Also available are numerous Warriors-themed tees, socks, hats and more.

This groundbreaking art show is curated by Conscious Basketball and co-produced with Kitzy Studios. The first installment of the show took place in San Francisco for three days at Somarts Cultural Center.

"Faces of Fracking" featured in East Bay Express

"With the Faces of Fracking project, the Citizen Engagement Lab’s (CEL) Climate Lab has been documenting the stories of whose lives are directly affected by fracking and those leading the grassroots movement against it. The multi-media project is hosted on, and each subject’s story is made up of photographs, an audio interview, and a written narrative. Now, these photographs, taken by Sarah Craig, are on view at SoleSpace (1714 Telegraph Ave., Oakland) in an exhibition titled after the project..."

SoleSpace Featured in News Report: "Oakland Speaks on Ferguson"

Last week we opened up our doors as a Community Healing Center where folks could come to express their feelings through art about the verdict in the Mike Brown/Darren Wilson case from Ferguson.

Journalists Jun Stinson and Dena Takruri produced this piece for AJ+ featuring some of the art that was produced as a backdrop for their interviews.

Wow! SoleSpace was named "Best Soles with Soul" in the annual "Best of The Bay" issue of the SF Bay Guardian, published 10/15/14.
